Biography
Madison McLaughlin is a Tulsa-based artist who specializes in digital illustration and brand identity. She completed her Bachelor of Science for Marketing, and her Bachelor of Fine Arts for Graphic Design, in Spring of 2022 and was awarded Distinguished Graduate and Outstanding Graduate respectively. Madison McLaughlin's work focuses on connecting with and creating a relationship with her viewers while providing them a momentary escape.
Artist Statement
As a creator, I have always treated art with the intent to serve as a visual representation of myself at that specific moment in time. Designing and creating have allowed me to express myself in a way that feels the most true and accurate across mediums. My work invites the viewer inside my head to see what is inspiring me, what I am feeling, and what I care about. My biggest influences, outside of the fine arts realm, are the media we are surrounded by every day and in some ways my reaction to them.
